Privacy Policy

This page explains what information BattleCore collects when you use the website, the control panel and your Minecraft servers, why we need it, and how you can have it removed. We keep it to what the service actually needs.
1. What we collect
- Account details — your email address and your password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash (bcrypt); we never store or see your actual password.
- Your servers — server names, chosen software and version, settings, and every file on your server: worlds, plugins, configuration and anything you upload.
- Players on your server — Minecraft stores player names, player data (inventory, position, statistics) and server logs. By default these logs include the IP address of players who connect. Notes you write about players in the control panel are stored too.
- Activity — a timeline of what happens on your server (starts, stops, setting changes, players joining and leaving), shown to you in the control panel.
We don't use analytics or tracking tools on the BattleCore website.
2. Cookies and browser storage
- bc_session — keeps you logged in (ends when you log out, after 7 days without use, or 30 days after you log in).
- bc_active — remembers which of your servers you have open (30 days).
- Your browser also keeps your console command history and a short-lived server status hint, only on your device.
These are required for the control panel to work and aren't used for advertising.
3. Advertising
BattleCore is free because of ads. When you start a server, an ad from our ad partner, Monetag, may be shown. Monetag may use cookies or collect device information under its own privacy policy. BattleCore only receives a signed confirmation that the ad finished — not your personal information.
4. Why we use it
- to create your account and let you log in;
- to run, save and restore your Minecraft servers;
- to keep the service stable and fair (free plan limits, preventing abuse);
- to answer you when you contact us.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it except with the ad partner described above or when the law requires it.
5. Where it's stored and backups
Your account and server data are stored on BattleCore's own machines in Pakistan. To protect your worlds we keep copies:
- a main copy of every server's files on our storage, updated while your server runs and when it stops;
- a temporary copy on the machine that last ran your server, deleted automatically within 24 hours;
- automatic snapshots taken before you change your server's software or version (the newest 3 are kept);
- full-system backups of our machines, which include all account and server data (the newest few are kept and older ones are deleted).
6. Deleting your data
- Deleting a server removes its files from our main storage, from temporary copies and from its snapshots.
- You can delete your account from Settings in the control panel.
- Copies inside full-system backups disappear as those backups are replaced by newer ones. We only use them to recover from hardware failures.
- To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, email battlecoreorg@gmail.com from the email address on your account.
7. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
